1. Agreement

By using the 4WD Camper Hire website (4wdcamperhireperth.com.au) and our vehicle hire services, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

2. Vehicle Hire Terms

Booking Platform

All vehicle bookings are processed through Camplify, our booking and insurance platform. By booking a vehicle, you also agree to Camplify's terms and conditions, which govern the insurance, payment, and booking aspects of your hire.

Minimum Hire Period

Minimum hire periods range from 4 to 12 days depending on the season and vehicle model. Peak season periods (school holidays, long weekends) may require longer minimum bookings.

Kilometre Allowance

All vehicles include 200 kilometres per day, averaged across your total trip duration. Excess kilometres are charged at $0.50 to $0.60 per kilometre depending on the vehicle.

Pickup and Return

All vehicles must be collected from and returned to our Perth location (Rivervale, WA 6103). One-way hires are not available. Free airport pickup is available on request.

3. Driver Requirements

  • Minimum hirer age is 21 or 24 depending on the vehicle model
  • All drivers must hold a valid, full driver's licence
  • International drivers must hold a valid licence in English or provide a certified translation

4. Vehicle Use Restrictions

The following activities are strictly prohibited and may void your insurance coverage:

  • Beach driving (except Lucky Bay and Wharton Beach in Esperance)
  • Heavy four-wheel driving, river crossings, and sand dune driving
  • Corrugated or unmaintained unsealed roads without pre-approval
  • Driving on restricted roads including the Gibb River Road, Canning Stock Route, Gunbarrel Highway, and Holland Track
  • Driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs
  • Using the vehicle for racing, towing, or commercial purposes

Unsealed Roads

Unsealed roads require pre-approval from us prior to your trip. We will advise which roads are suitable based on current conditions. Unauthorised off-road driving incurs a $150 undercarriage inspection fee.

5. Insurance and Bonds

Comprehensive insurance is included with every booking through Camplify. This includes third-party liability, vehicle damage coverage (subject to excess), and 24/7 roadside assistance.

Bond amounts are stated on each vehicle listing and are held as a security deposit. The bond is returned after the vehicle is returned in satisfactory condition.

6. Cleaning and Return Condition

  • Vehicles must be returned in a reasonable, clean condition
  • Cleaning charge of $100-$150 applies if returned excessively dirty
  • Red dust contamination incurs a $500 cleaning fee
  • Post-trip cleaning service available for $100-$150 if booked in advance

7. Cancellation Policy

Cancellation and refund policies are governed by Camplify's terms and conditions. Please refer to your Camplify booking for specific cancellation terms applicable to your reservation.

8. Limitation of Liability

4WD Camper Hire provides vehicle hire services with reasonable care. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our vehicles or services, except where required by Australian Consumer Law.

9. Intellectual Property

All content on this website — including text, images, graphics, and design — is the property of 4WD Camper Hire and is protected by Australian copyright law. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use any content without our written permission.

10. Website Disclaimer

While we strive to keep information on this website accurate and up to date, we do not warrant the completeness or accuracy of all content. Pricing, availability, and vehicle specifications may change without notice. Always confirm current details when making a booking.

11. Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of Western Australia, Australia. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Western Australia.

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
